Hey All-

My Name is Kelly, I am Kraig's Best Friend and unconfirmed Sister. I'm from Cedar Rapids.

I am the one the Kraig calls in case of Bad weather, one because I hate bad weather but two, I will go just about anywhere to take pictures of the Storm/Damage. I know it's ironic, but I love to take pictures and a good camera man has to brace the elements!

I have lots and lots of photos so feel free to ask to see them, once I figure it out I'll get the up on te site.

I apologize for starting another post similar to this, I'll post my information here...

I'm Owen McCormick, I can also be known to others as "O.C." I am 15, but am not new to the MidwestSkywarn.com System. I was with the gang when we were Iowa-Skywarn.org.

I am currently a Freshman Student at Muscatine High School, of course in Muscatine, Iowa. I became interested in Atmospheric Sciences and Weather as early as 1998, when I was 5 Years Old.

Besides being with MWS, I am a Trained Weather Spotter for the National Weather Service WFO in Davenport, Iowa, as well as Muscatine County Emergency Management in Muscatine.

I also am a member of Mulford Evangelical Free Church in Muscatine, always looking for new members BTW.

I come from a Large Family, that is spread across the United States. Most of my Immediate Family resides in East Central, Southeast, and Northeast Iowa. I also have family members from my Step-Dad's Side in Oklahoma, Missouri, and California.

This is my First year being a Trained Spotter in Muscatine County with the NWS and MC-EMA. Never been a Trained and Registered Spotter, so I decided to get the training done this year.

My interests do not just include Weather and Atmospheric Sciences, I also am an avid Railfan, railfans are Railroad Enthusiasts, who montitor activites on Railroads and movements.

I also like to Travel when possible, especially in the Midwestern United States, however occasional trips to Southern California is nice too.

Video Games, Computers and Technology, Radio & Television Media, Roads and Highways (DOT Work, History), and Electronics Installation are just some of my other interests. I take the Electronics Stuff as Interests as I am not doing it as a Career.

If I am not doing any of those and I'm with family, you can find me through East Central and Southeast Iowa. Especially in Muscatine, Louisa, Scott, and Johnson Counties. Each Year I usually go to Clayton County in the winter, family holidays and such. Just a rundown of Cities, Towns, and Villages where can be found:
Conesville - Family
West Liberty - Doctors
Muscatine - Family, School, Work
Blue Grass - Family
Columbus Junction - Family
Monona - Family
Farmersburg - Family
Elkader - Family
Iowa City - Shop Runs, Doctors
Coralville - Shop Runs
Lone Tree - Passing Through, Shop Runs
Davenport/Bettendorf - Shop Runs
Decorah - Vacation
Los Angeles County, CA - Vacation, Family

My Family is split apart very vastly I should say, Most of the McCormick side is in Muscatine or Louisa Counties in Iowa, but some are in other places, like:
Warren County, Iowa
Versailles, Missouri-Morgan County
Cedar Rapids, Iowa-Linn County
Blue Grass, Iowa-Scott County

Now, my Mothers and Step-Dads sides are really apart, here ya go:
Raymore, Missouri
Pocola, Oklahoma (Near Fort Smith, Arkansas)
La Puente, California-Los Angeles County
Farmersburg, Iowa-Clayton County
Monona, Iowa-Clayton County
Elkader, Iowa-Clayton County
North Liberty, Iowa-Johnson County
Dixon, Iowa-Scott County
Donahue, Iowa-Scott County

I will stop here, as I will hog up the boards otherwise, lol, Anyways, just a little thing about me I guess, welp, I must be hittin the road, it's getting late. Almost 10:00 PM here, well folks, GoodNight!

I see the forum is alittle slow but so is the weater but i would like to introduce myself. My name is Randy Wieckowski of Hiawatha, IA (Cedar Rapids Area) I am 25 years old and going to be attending a Storm Spotter Class April 13th in Garrison with my girlfriend. I am new to storm spotting as i just started doing research about it a few weeks ago but i am not new to weather. Has been one of my passions for quite some time and really kicked into full gear when living in Michigan and living in a trailer and was struck by a tornado with little to no warning.

Little more about me. Like i mentioned i'm 25 years old living in Hiawatha. I grew up 23 of those years in the Metro Detroit area. I have a background in automotives and currently looking at going into something Computer Related instead. I'm going to be attending kirkwood for PC Tech.

Being new to this field i have alot to learn and hope some people can shed some light for me as i feel this is something i'm going to take very seriously and eventually look at chasing these storms with proper equipment. If there is any local meetings or get togethers please let me know.

Sorry for my scattered rambling but i hope to be an asset to the weather spotting community and thanks for you time.

Randy
