yeah maybe we could do like a cam network for MWS, or as an expansion of it do something like severe studios does and have a streaming chaser cam area?

I've been toying with both ideas but we'd need a member to host a server or two for connecting the cameras to a centeralized location and also broadcast that back to the site so we're also talking a high-end internet access as well. I am currently working on moving out of the parents house and into my own. Once i do i'll be able to host the server. just need those interested in sharing a webcam feed of there yard to email me where we can start getting a list of those who have cams and are willing to share.

The live chaser feed is harder. those guys spend a bunch of money on high-end internet anywhere access. yes if they had nodes of internet access and where HAM lincesed they could use the WiRES or EchoLink system and it be free. Right now I have one of the WiRES systems running here in Cedar Rapids, IA. Cost me about $200 but it works great just the distance from home sucks, i get maybe 50 miles right now.

That is what i've been playing with. Throw out more ideas and i'll set the hamster loose on the wheel again.

Passing thought..if nothing else maybe we can have an area that pulls in images from other cam networks (ie IEM) if they allow us to do so.

we could but we'd need all 14 states and i've only seen that for Iowa. good thought and it is a researchible one if someone wishes to take it up.
