last storm we had sustained winds at around 35-36..gusting to 40 or 45 if i recall (according to the SchoolNet site anyway)

well i just found out that the NWS sent out a crew to see how strong the winds were in the area where I was storm chasing and they say 100-115 mph winds. No wonder that shed lost its roof lol.

Here is my story. I went 10 miles south of Grant IA and got on the peak of the front. I took shelter in a large shed with another smaller shed near. The wind and rain picked up to the point where I could not see out of the shed at all. Once the storm was over I noticed the shed I was in lost all of its tin off the roof and the other smaller shed had no roof.
